Pi5 image not working with KerberosSDR External RF Switches

I changed Pi4 to Pi5, downloaded the image and found that the external RF switches on Kerberos did not work. Will it be fixed? Or should I try to make changes myself?

Unfortunately, the pigpio library is not compatible with the Pi 5, and it doesn’t seem like there is any interest from the developers in updating it pigpio will not run on a Pi 5 · Issue #589 · joan2937/pigpio · GitHub

A rewrite of this code will need to be done with an alternative library or method. But I do recall testing an alternative library before on the Pi 4 and having problems getting it to work correctly, which is why pigpio was chosen.

I’m glad you asked this question. I’ve been designing my own 50-ohm calibration PCB for the KerberosSDR and was planning on using it with a Pi 5. If the I/O isn’t responding, then I’m just going to drill a hole for a “CAL” switch and manually toggle it for a calibration cycle.

BTW, I’m planning on mounting the PCB inside the case for better wear and tear. If anyone’s interested, I can have some additional bare circuit boards made up once this first round of testing goes through.
