I’ve bought a KerberosSDR at the beginning in 2018 and was never able to get a real steady heading with it. After countless hours, I’ve pull the plug (literally) on the project. I’ve now stumble on KrakenSDR, can someone confirm that this really works better then Kerberos?
Any other info before I buy it would be appreciate.
The KrakenSDR works better than the KrakenSDR and is easier to use, however, the Comet Antennas I received were all intermittent which cased some early bugs. I built my own and, so far, no problems.

My kerberos works well with the new software for kraken. For some reason, the first versions, when kraken was not released yet, did not work so well for me.
I suggest you trying the new software first. It is a lot easier to use.
I have been very happy with KRAKENSDR. I have used it multiple times as a mobile to locate VHF and UHF sites. Each case it has taken right up to the gate where I can see the tower. One time it lead me to the aircraft with a stuck 121.500 ELT.
