Hello Users and Admins,
Can someone tell me if I can mount the KrakenSDR via the 4 apparently unused holes in the bottom of the KrakenSDR case? See attached picture of the 4 holes in the case. They appear to be threaded with M3 threads? Will there be any damage to something on the inside PCB?
Thanks,
Dave
@K5OZ Those holes were added specifically for mounting purposes. They are not through-holes and using them will not damage any internal circuitry. There are also holes on the top of the device that can be used for mounting.
Thanks Syed! i will be using them in my new HF Case mounting.
Hello Kraken guru’s:
Attached is the build of my Harbor Freight Case. You don’t have to connect or disconnect anything except 12 volt power.

Hello @K5OZ - Your case looks great. I’m just getting started with my Kraken kit and would love to build a similar case, except I’ll most likely use mine on an aircraft. Would you mind elaborating on that dual on/off switch with voltage and current displayed? Is that something you built yourself?
Spectre,
Yes, I 3D printed the on/off case. The display is DSN-VC288: 5pcs DC 100V 10A Voltmeter Ammeter LED Dual Volt Amp Meter Voltage Current Gauge 845832032375 | eBay
