Is anyone else having problems downloading the files from the wiki? I keep running into network issues. I know it’s not on my side.
It also appears that there is a corrupt file in the download which we did get.
Which file are you having problems with?
Are you still experiencing problems downloading the file?
The link on GitHub is taking us to a read me file and not the repo that has the docker file for actual download. We also tried installing kraken to a sd card and the pi cannot read it.
I am also having issues with the images. june and march 2024 images for the pi 5. attempted on 2 sd cards with different downloads one of which was known to be previously functional with raspbian
@Gmarc The Dockerfile is located in that repo, here: krakensdr-containers/Dockerfile.doa at main · godsic/krakensdr-containers · GitHub
@krakenrf_carl @tarpy7 Which version of Balena Etcher are you using? What do you mean by “previously functional with Raspbian”?
Balena v2.1.4
I only mean the issue cant be the sd cards as Ive had a successful uncorrupted write to one of them of a different os
I was having the same issue but used the raspberry pi tool and it worked fine.
Just confirming a process that worked a few minutes ago for me.
–downloaded 1_krakensdr_pi5_20241030.img-005 from Dropbox
–used BalenaEtcher 1.5.50
–target is a SanDisk Ultra 32GB microSD
–krakensdr_doa succcessfully autostarted on boot; GUI was present at 192.168.50.5:8080/config
This is v1.1 of the Pi 5. The following command is used to find out the hardware version.
cat /sys/firmware/devicetree/base/model
Check the balena etcher version. I believe there was one version of balena etcher that had problems.
The second thing is that maybe you have some antivirus program that is tying to capture the SD card while etcher is writing?
If you do this, just make sure to accidentally not change any of the login details.
