How would a multiple site VHF simulcast system look? Would you gain any useful data as to the sites or would it just be conflicting data?
Any transmission where more than one source is interleaved on a single frequency is going to be a problem. Some extra advanced code would be required to extract only the site of interest.
With a Simulcast system, you (should) already know where the fixed sites are. You could do some timestamping and decoding to filter out traffic from the site to the subscriber on the control channel so that you’re only getting LOBs to the subscribers.
