Hi, was playing with the Kraken and noticed that my very basic android tablet is taking about 1 minute before it displays location of my ham radio that I was testing it with. Is this normal or do I need to upgrade my tablet in order to be able to see it faster ? If so - any recommendations? using basic Raspberry to connect tablet to the Kraken
The location it displays will be totally inaccurate if you’re not moving around triangulating. If you’re just in one spot it’s going to just pick a point halfway along the bearing line after a few minutes.
The CPU speed of the Android device has nothing to do with how long it takes to determine a location.
