Hello, i am trying to locate a signal that burst, What is the minimum bust time that Kraken could be use to get a fix?
I was getting a fix each time to the location but the circle was red even 50 feets from the transmitter.
What are the setting i could tune to get the circle to change from red to green?

If you select the “Optomize Short Bursts” box in the VFO Configuration settings, the Kraken can detect bursts as short as 50 milliseconds.
I’m part color blind and can’t help with the red-green question, but does the color really matter as long as the Kraken is pointing to the signal source?
Yes! As far as I know, the green octagon is a better predictive that the location is correct. Correct me if I’m wrong…
If you’re referring to the color of the octagon on the smartphone app, then it doesn’t actually matter if its red or green.
The color simply changes after a certain amount of data has been received, and it just indicates that in most cases by the time its green there should be enough data for a good location estimation.
However, if you have bursty signals, the amount of data you will receive is significantly less. So it will turn green after a much longer time.
