For stationary mode, I enter in the compass bearing that my vehicle is facing, the Lat/Lon coordinates, and choose “Manual”. All works as expected.
My question is this: When I’m ready to start moving again, I change “Manual” to “GPS”, but I need to know whether the app then ignores the compass bearing and Lat/Lon settings when GPS is selected, or do I need to erase the readings so they don’t conflict with the GPS data?
Blockquote Bearing Mode: The mapping system can use the GPS or Compass sensor for determining the direction of movement (heading). Generally, the GPS sensor provides the most accurate heading, as long as the device is moving. If compass mode is used you will need to be careful with the direction that the physical device points toward. For compasses you also need to make sure to calibrate the compass on your device first (find an app for this), and ensure the phone is kept away from metal or magnetic sources that can affect the compass. For fixed sites, the antenna array heading, and location coordinates can be manually set by setting the ‘Manual’ mode. In the ‘Kraken’ mode, the app will use the antenna array heading and location provided by the Kraken server, which could be from a USB GPS connected to the Pi 4 or manually set in the Web GUI. > Blockquote
