Change Default Kraken SSID Pi5

Hello Kraken forum. New user here, just got Kraken SDR working on a Pi5. Really impressed thus far. I am wondering if anyone knows how to disable to automatic AP startup within the RaspPi5 image. I would like to have the pi auto connect to my iphone8’s hotspot directly, and not stand up it’s own AP. Reason is a bit complicated.

My main phone with network is an older iphone8. The Kraken SDR ios wont run on this version. I have a cheap Android phone which will run the Kraken SDR but does not have a working SIM. I have successfully connected the pi5 and android (Kraken SDR app) to the iphone8 hotspot. This works great, but requires me to log into the pi5 and disconnect krakensdr AP and connect to the broadcast SSID from my iphone8 every time. I would like to go into the pi5 image and disable it standing up it’s own AP and save the iphone8 SSID for it to automatically connect to on boot. Any help where this code is would be appreciated.

Hi, yes there are some details about changing the WiFi settings availble in the Wiki 13. Appendix · krakenrf/krakensdr_docs Wiki · GitHub

But if you’re running on a Pi 5 you just need to use the built in network GUI on the Pi 5 (by clicking the network icon on the top right of the task bar) after connecting a monitor. There you can easily set all the network settings that you want.
