Accuracy of DOA estimation without recalibration at new frequency

Hi,

The kraken currently performs recalibration when center frequency is changed, regardless of calibration mode. What would the impact on accuracy of iq samples and later DOA be if calibration was removed when frequency is changed (making changes to the code)? Would the samples at each channel become misaligned with a new frequency, and iq data adjustments made in delay sync invalid?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Have enjoyed using the kraken thus far.

Without recalibration, the results would be totally gibberish.

The samples remain aligned, but the phase within the tuner is randomised each time they retune. So recalibration of the phase is required.
